My Toddler

Elisabeth Pedersen, Advisory Dietitian

Watching your toddler learn to walk, talk and play is one of the most
rewarding parts of being a parent. As their own personality emerges
you’ll be faced with new challenges every day and whilst they are
beginning to act like a little grown-up they still have very specific needs.
Here you’ll find nutritional information to help you give your toddler the
nutrition they need, find out about their development at this stage and
some advice on coping with general health issues.

My toddler’s development

Walking, talking, understanding, exploring, eating … find out how your toddler is developing both mentally and physically, whether it’s their speech, co-ordination or their changing nutritional needs.

Feeding and Nutrition

Even though your toddler might seem like a mini-adult their nutritional needs are still different to yours – they need lots of energy to keep up with all the growing and exploring they have to do!

My toddler’s health

They may be getting bigger and bouncier by the minute, but looking after your toddler’s health is still as important as when they were a baby. Read about why a healthy sleeping and feeding routine is very important.
